Getting started
- Open Discover and compare the properties shown by acreage, price and research status.
- Open a property to see its source links, map, rights evidence and unresolved questions.
- Save promising properties to your Shortlist. Compare the evidence before comparing hypothetical returns.
- Use Coverage to understand which county records and research layers are available.
- Use the Journal for practical guidance on auctions, title, access, minerals and holding costs.
Saving and backing up your work
Saved properties, notes and research drafts are stored in this browser. They do not automatically follow you to another phone or computer, and clearing site data can remove them.
In Shortlist, find Back up your private work and choose Export all private work. Import that backup in the other browser to merge supported research records. Download binary document attachments separately. Private lead drafts have their own export control.
Keep backup files private: they can contain your notes, assumptions and source links. If saving is unavailable, export your work before closing the page.
Following new research
Open a saved search and use its RSS alert feed in a feed reader. The Journal RSS feed carries new articles. Changes shows the site’s published research updates.
Email delivery is not currently configured. Saving a search or a preference does not enroll you in a working email service.
Corrections
For a property record, open its full dossier and choose Draft a source correction. Include the exact field, the proposed correction, the source URL and the date you checked it. Save and export the draft for your research file.
Drafts and exports are not sent to an editorial inbox and do not change the public record. For an article or display issue, use the note builder below to prepare a portable report. A public support inbox is not currently connected.
Maps, missing images and unavailable sources
Maps and some property images come from external providers. If a source is unavailable, retain the last supported evidence and reopen the original source separately. Try another supported browser or connection if an external map fails to load. Do not interpret an empty layer as proof that a parcel has no restrictions.
For keyboard navigation and alternatives to the map, see Accessibility.
